Yes, it is a real show, and a reality show. It's like Biggest Losers without losing weight. And yes, if you watch the show, most people on their, professionals or noob cooks, they are all overweight. So perhaps after they finished the show, they will all join Biggest Loser: Foodnetwork Edition.
So, let's talk about the show. I have to say, it is quite entertaining. The show divided into two teams, red and blue, and both lead by two professional chefs. Each week, the teams have to complete challenges in order to advance. Keep in mind, however, the team members are all people that have no idea how to cook. There are several contestants who are mothers, but don't know jack about cooking. It is...kind of shocking actually, but entertaining nevertheless.
I have to say that it is great show. I mean, watching people screw up on national television is basically the American spirit. And seeing people have a mental melt down on national television is the Reality TV spirit. I mean, American Idol can't even compare with this. There is an Asian man whose ego is too big(how can you have big egos when you are on "WORST cooks in America"??), which never happens. A 38-year-old dance teacher who still acts like a 19-year-old sorority girl, and constantly flirting with the leader of the team, Chef Beau, when she IS married. An overweight homosexual(I wanted to use the F word, but I don't want to end up like Dr. McBlacky) who is afraid of fire, and act more like a girl than real girls. Also, a woman who loves Snow White so much that she duplicated Snow White's hairstyle, but still wearing glasses from the 50's. Come on, this show is AWESOME!
