| For once, it is not 3D animated comedy. |
Monsters may not be the most original movie, but it was definitely well-written. The plot surrounds a U.S. journalist, Andrew Kaulder, helping to escort a U.S. tourist, Samantha Wynden through the infected zone in Mexico back to the U.S. border. The "infected" referred to the plants, mostly trees, which the alien species breeds. The infected zones also were densely populated with the aliens, which looked like giant octopus.... Well, the ocean does reside many unique looking creatures, and I am sure many people find inspiration from them.
All in all, the movie was fairly interesting and intriguing. However, this is not the average alien movie that you might expect.
